Gravesend is one of Brooklyn’s oldest neighborhoods — built on tradition, character, and community.
As lifelong childhood friends from Brooklyn, Gravesend Pizza is our way of paying homage to the neighborhood, the traditions, and the pizza culture that shaped us.
Growing up in Gravesend, Brooklyn, we were surrounded by some of the best pizzerias in the world — places that defined what a proper slice should be: simple, balanced, and made with pride.
The plain slice was always the test.
The dough. The sauce. The cheese. The balance.
No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just getting the fundamentals right.
The pizzerias we grew up on — Ciccio’s Pizzeria, Pizza Park, Tony’s Pizza, Vic’s Pizzeria, Mario’s Pizza, and L&B Spumoni Gardens — helped shape our idea of what great pizza should be.
